Vixxxen / AI OFM Platform / How to promote OnlyFans
Most OnlyFans promotion happens off OnlyFans: on Reddit, on X, through SFW posts on Instagram and TikTok, on a link-in-bio page, and often on a second platform such as Fanvue. Each channel has its own rules for adult content, links and AI labels. This guide covers every channel the safe way, so the accounts that bring you fans survive.
Last updated: October 28, 2026. Platform rules and fees checked against each platform's own published pages on October 28, 2026.
Three rules apply on every channel. Breaking any of them is the fastest way to lose the account that was bringing you fans.
OnlyFans requires a clear caption label on AI posts, such as #ai or #AIGenerated; see Does OnlyFans allow AI content? for the full rule. TikTok's Community Guidelines (effective September 24, 2026) require creators to label AI-generated content that shows realistic-looking people or scenes. On Fanvue, AI accounts carry an AI label that also appears on its discovery cards. Being upfront protects you on Reddit too, whose sitewide rules ask users not to mislead others.
X allows consensually produced adult content when it is labeled with a content warning and kept out of profile photos, headers and live video. Meta's Community Standards, which cover Instagram, remove AI-generated sexual imagery the same way as real photos, whether or not it looks photorealistic. TikTok generally doesn't allow sexual activity or explicit body exposure. Plan SFW content for those two.
OnlyFans' Terms say any link promoting your creator account must comply with OnlyFans' Terms and the terms of the site where you advertise. You must not link in a way that suggests OnlyFans endorses you, and you must not promote your account with Google Ads or any similar search advertising.
As of October 2026, from each platform's own rules:
| Channel | Adult content | AI disclosure | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Only in communities that allow it, labeled NSFW | Community rules on AI vary; check each one | Taking part in niche communities | |
| X | Allowed with a content warning; never in the profile photo, header or live video | The adult policy covers AI-generated media; say the character is AI | Daily posts, teasers and a pinned link |
| Not allowed, including AI-generated imagery | Say the character is AI in the bio and captions | SFW character posts and Stories | |
| TikTok | Generally not allowed | Required for realistic AI content | Short SFW clips |
| Fanvue | Allowed for paying fans; public media must suit mainstream social media | An AI label on the account and on discovery cards | A second platform with an AI category |
Reddit can send interested fans straight to you, but it punishes accounts that only drop links. Its sitewide rules ask you to follow each community's rules, participate authentically without spamming, not impersonate anyone deceptively, and label sexually explicit content.
Communities set their own policies on AI-generated content, and they change often. Some welcome disclosed AI characters and some ban them. Check each community's rules and sidebar before you post, and don't assume a rule you read last month still holds.
X is one of the few large platforms where labeled adult content is allowed. Its Adult Content policy (dated May 2024) says it applies to AI-generated media too, asks regular adult posters to set their media settings so images and videos sit behind a content warning, and bans adult content in profile photos, headers, live video, List banners and Community cover photos.
Instagram and TikTok can introduce the character to a large audience, but neither allows sexual content. Meta's rules remove AI- or computer-generated sexual imagery, and TikTok's guidelines generally don't allow sexual activity, with limited exceptions such as education and art. Use these platforms for the character, not for what you sell.
A link-in-bio page sits between your social profiles and your paid pages. It lists OnlyFans, Fanvue and anything else in one place, and you can change it without editing every profile.
Fanvue is worth considering as a second home for an AI character. It treats AI creators as a verified category: the human owner verifies, Fanvue labels the account as AI, and the label also appears on its discovery and recommendation cards. One verified identity can run up to 15 AI accounts and 2 human accounts.
Fanvue's rules for public media decide whether a profile stays in its Discover section. Swimwear, lingerie and boudoir content is fine if it is opaque, not posed explicitly, and suitable for mainstream social media; a first offence takes the profile out of Discover until the media is fixed. Fees and payouts are in Is Fanvue legit?, and the platform choice in Fanvue vs OnlyFans.
One warning: Fansly's Terms ban photorealistic AI content, so Fansly is not an option for a photorealistic character. The full comparison is in Fansly vs OnlyFans.
Content ideas and captions for each lane are in OnlyFans content ideas and OnlyFans caption ideas.
Each guide covers one part of running an AI creator account, with the same dated, source-checked approach.
Promotion runs on content. Vixxxen makes the character, the SFW teasers for each social platform and the premium sets, all from one consistent identity, so every channel shows the same recognizable person. You post, promote and talk to fans yourself. If you're still choosing tools, see the policy-checked list of AI OFM tools.
Each rule here comes from the platform's own published page, read on October 28, 2026. Social platforms update their rules often, so recheck before a campaign.
Build attention off OnlyFans and send it to your page: SFW character content on Instagram and TikTok, labeled teasers on X, real participation in Reddit communities that allow AI content, and a link-in-bio page. Label AI content everywhere and track which channel sends paying fans.
You can promote the character with SFW content, but neither platform allows sexual content, and Meta removes AI-generated sexual imagery as well as real photos. TikTok also requires a label on realistic AI-generated content.
Yes, in communities that allow it. Reddit's sitewide rules require following each community's rules, no spam, no deceptive impersonation and labeling explicit content. Community rules on AI content vary and change, so check each one before posting.
No. OnlyFans' Terms say not to promote your OnlyFans account using Google Ads or any similar advertising platform or search engine advertising service.
It's worth considering. Fanvue has a verified AI creator category, shows the AI label on its discovery cards, and lets one verified identity run up to 15 AI accounts. Fans subscribe separately on each platform.
There is no reliable timeline and no guarantee. Results depend on the character, content quality, consistency, pricing and the channels you use. Track each channel separately and keep what works.
