Vixxxen / AI OFM Platform / Is Fanvue legit?
Yes. Fanvue is a real creator subscription platform run by a registered company, with published policies, ID verification for every creator and a standard 80% creator share. It's also one of the few platforms that treats AI creators as an official, labeled category. Here is how its fees, payouts, verification and AI rules work as of October 2026, and the trade-offs.
Last updated: October 28, 2026. Platform rules and fees checked against each platform's own published pages on October 28, 2026.
Fanvue's Creator Earnings and Payouts policy names Shift Holdings Ltd as the company behind Fanvue. Its policy hub at legal.fanvue.com lists general terms, creator terms, content rules and a changelog with dated entries; the most recent we saw, on October 27, 2026, explained how age and identity verification works.
Fanvue's homepage says it has powered over $500m in creator payouts. That is Fanvue's own figure, not an independent audit, and it says nothing about what a new creator will earn.
Fanvue's Creator Earnings and Payouts policy (updated April 22, 2026) sets the standard creator earning rate at 80% of gross revenue from subscriptions, tips, pay-per-view messages, bundles and custom content. Fanvue keeps the other 20% as its platform fee.
Fanvue can also run a temporary promotional rate for newly onboarded creators. As of October 2026, its homepage says creators take home 85% of their earnings for their first month and 80% after that.
Earnings are calculated before taxes and third-party processing charges, and refunds and chargebacks come off your balance. If more than 1.5% of your transactions become chargebacks or disputes in a rolling 30-day period, Fanvue may charge a $50 administrative fee for each additional dispute.
| Platform | Creator share | Where it is published |
|---|---|---|
| Fanvue | 80% standard; 85% in the first month while the promotion runs | Creator Earnings and Payouts policy; homepage FAQ |
| OnlyFans | 80%: OnlyFans' fee is 20% of each fan payment | Terms of Service |
| Fansly | 80% of subscriptions, sales and tips | Terms of Service, July 21, 2026 |
Every Fanvue creator goes through KYC with Ondato, Fanvue's verification provider. Its Content Moderation Policy (updated October 27, 2026) lists a government-issued ID, a liveness check with real-time video or photo capture, a match between your face and the ID photo, and confirmation that you are at least 18. Fanvue's homepage describes this as "instant ID verification".
Fanvue also reviews accounts by hand before the first withdrawal, when a creator earns more than $100 in 24 hours, and when its tools or community reports flag suspicious behaviour. Uploaded content is scanned automatically, including for whether it was generated by AI, and flagged items wait for a human moderator. For how OnlyFans handles its own checks, see OnlyFans verification explained.
Fanvue's help centre (August 3, 2026) calls AI creators "a fully recognised and verified category". The human owner verifies with a government ID and a selfie, even if their face never appears in the content, and the ID isn't shown on the profile. Fully AI characters don't need co-creator documents. Content that uses a real person's face, body or voice needs that person's verification and consent.
One verified identity can run up to 15 AI accounts and 2 human accounts, which suits agencies. Our Fanvue AI creator guide covers the day-to-day workflow.
For fans, the main points are that subscriptions are non-refundable under Fanvue's standard terms, and that AI creators carry a label you can check before you subscribe.
If your character is fully AI, Fanvue's rules are written for you. OnlyFans also allows AI content, but every AI post needs a caption label, and the account is built around a verified human creator. Compare them in Fanvue vs OnlyFans, read the OnlyFans AI content policy, and see Fansly vs OnlyFans for the third option. To bring fans to whichever you choose, use our promotion guide for AI creators.
Everything here comes from Fanvue's own pages, read on October 28, 2026, plus one dated observation of Fanvue's website. Fanvue updates its policies often; its changelog lists each change.
